The Music Ministry of First United Methodist Church extends an invitation to all members of the congregation to join them. We currently have four vocal choirs and two handbell choirs.

Vocal Choirs
SANCTUARY CHOIR, for all dedicated adults, rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:00 p.m. They present major sacred choral works several times yearly and sing at the 11:00 a.m. worship services weekly.

YOUTH CHOIR is open to all youth in grades 7-12. They rehearse on Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:00 p.m. The Youth Choir sings for worship services and enjoys fellowship activities.

CHORISTER CHOIR, for all 3rd - 6th graders, meets on Monday evenings from 6:00-7:00 p.m. They sing frequently for worship services and enjoy monthly social and service activities.

CHERUB CHOIR, for all K-2nd graders, meets on Monday evenings from 5:30-6:00 p.m. They also sing regularly for worship services and enjoy monthly social and service activities.

Handbell Choirs
JuBELLation, our YOUTH HANDBELL CHOIR, is open to all dedicated and responsible youth in grades 7-12. They rehearse on Sunday afternoons from 4:00-5:00 p.m.

HEAVENLY BELLS, our CHILDREN’S HANDBELL CHOIR, is open to all interested, enthusiastic and hard working 3rd - 6th graders. They rehearse on Sunday afternoons from 3:00-4:00 p.m.

ADULT HANDBELL CHOIR is a small ensemble of music-reading adults who rehearse weekly; currently, not active.

Our music program is continually growing.
